the only thing that pops up is an error box with "bpk.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close..."
basically aft this shows up everything goes still and unclickable. ive tried opening up task manager to see if there are any weird programs running but the task manager opens up and freezes as well...

Your computer is probably infected with a virus.

Download an antivirus program (a free one can be found at www.grisoft.com) and update it, then run the computer in safe mode.

To run the computer in safe mode, resatrt your computer and after the Windows loading screen shows up, keep pressing F8 until a black screen appears. Now click on "Start in safe mode". Log in to the account "Administrator".

Now run a antivirus scan, and allow the antivirus program to remove the virus.

Someone has installed a Keylogger on this computer. Keyloggers are nast little programs that log every key stroke and mouse click that you make. The following url will take you to a site that explains this situation and has software to remove it.
