A URL is a Universal Resource Locator.
It is a unique address on the Internet. It is composed of at least three parts:
After the final slash, there can also be any number of directory names, and a file name. For example:
http://www.sas.upenn.edu/~jtreat/good/be...
A URL must be spelled exactly -- even the case must be correct (upper case or lower case).

A URL is the thing that you type into the address bar. For example, http://answers.yahoo.com is a URL, or a Uniform Resource Locator.

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator. Basically that is the Internet Address which is sent to the DNS server which translates it into a certain IP code...

It sounds like it is asking for the URL of the MP3 file. If it is on a publicly-available host, the URL will look something like: http://www.example.com/dir/name.mp3

If you're trying to create a file and it's asking for you a url, I'd just put in adobe.com or I'd make one up. You can adjust it later. That's kind of a weird thing for a program to ask you for.
