i have toshiba laptop with windows vista.I want to buy tv card this weekend because i want to record tv programs.Can anyone help which model,which brand and what to look at when i am going to buy one.which is better with usb connection or pc slot connection.i would prefer pc slot connection because i would not like to plug it to the usb.but if tv cards with usb connection are better let me know.or if you have any good or bad experience with some tv cards let me know

Here's my problem- I have to copy/paste 150 individual names from excel and paste each name, one by one, onto a certificate in word. So, I have to copy one name from excel, paste it on the document in word, print it out, copy another name from word, delete the name that was used on the document, insert the new name, and repeat and repeat and repeat. Instead of copy/pasting every single name which would take me a while, is there a way to copy/paste all of the names at once so each name shows up one by one on it's own certificate? I think it's called something like 'mail merger' or 'mergering'. If anyone can help I will be so thankful!

I have a rather large forum that I own, and today I got an email from my webhost saying that my forum was using alot of CPU processing time. They pinpointed a few IP addresses and said they put up firewalls. What I am wondering is:
What uses CPU processing times on a website and what can I do to try and lighten the load, so to say?

Vista was on the machine first. I used the partition program that comes on vista to create a new partition. I booted the xp installation disk which gave me a choice of which partition I wanted to use and I chose the one I created for xp.
It copied the files from the disk and asked me to insert the old copy of windows since this is a upgrade disk. Then I rebooted the computer to finish the installation and now it just gets stuck on the first bios screen and won't go past that. It won't boot any cd. It says American Megatrends AMI Bios tried hitting delete and F8, nothing. I chose not to use NTFS when choosing the partition because I thought Vista allready handled that when I created the partition.

to Install XP back onto my computer. and when i try to boot my computer from the XP disk it runs as normal....it loads some files (blue screen) then it says starting windows setup, screen fflashes black and goes to another blue screen with an error message. it says something like setup has been stopped to prevent damage to your computer... (i talked to my uncle who is really good with computers and he thinks its Vista that is stopping it from installing... is there any other way?

I have a long column of "yes" and "no" on worksheet1 range (C2:C50). On worksheet2, I have a blank cell (B1) that I'm trying to put the if-then statement into that will evaluate the range on worksheet1. I'm trying to get it to understand that if there are any "no's" in the range, then cell (B1) will equal yes. Is it possible for it to evaluate that many cells at one time, or do I have to write the if-then statement for each cell in the range?

I've read the help screens, but there are no examples evaluating a range of cells, nor do they evaluate cells from another worksheet.

Oh, and I only have excel '04.

i cant seem to burn movies for my dvd player. it says " error, no playback feature" ive tried sooo many programs like nero,convertXtoDVD and nothing works. the folders that are in the dvd are audio_ts and video_ts and i cant seem to get them to play in my magnavox dvd player....can someone help me PLEASE?
