It only gives me the option to "save target as" but that never works if I try to post it on YouTube or someplace like that. Will that work if I just want to get it to Windows Movie Maker? Is there any easier way to get these videos from Windows Media Player to the Movie Maker? If that makes sense, thanks.

I just purchased a ""Maxtor 160GB External USB 2.0 Hard Drive, 9MC2A2590""

My Question: It was my First External drive Purchase and i soon realized i was looking for an "External HD Enclosure" instead of What i got...
Hehe iight im sure this is kinda lame to ask but is it possible to open it up and replace the Drive with my Own? Keep in mind its an External drive and not an External enclosure!

I deleted my music folder thinking that they were duplicate MP3 files but they weren't, now my itunes can't find the ones that got deleted. I didn't "secure empty trash" so I know they're there I just don't know how to recover them! Much appreciated!

What about Quadro and FireGL cards make them specialized for working, and GeForce and Radeon cards for gaming? Just looking straight at the specs, it appears that Quadro and FireGL cards are just really expensive, though obdiviously they do perform better. What makes this true?

My internet explorer and windows media player cannot run. It said that it had encountered a problem and needed to be closed. I restart my laptop but it didn't solve the problem. This had happened before and I had to reformat my laptop. I don't have the time to do reformatting. Do you have any suggestion as how to fix this problem? I'm using firefox to surf the net but it cannot opened some of the website properly. I realy need to use internet explorer. Urgent!!!

Few weeks ago, my dsl was working fine... Running great.. no problems.. but we needed to move computers.. but we didnt have enough plugins for our phone.. so we got somone to add another cable plugin for the phone.... but once i go on the internet now and somone calls, the status bar starts blinking, and no longer do i get internet for around 30 seconds, ill be in the middle of somthing online and somone will call and totally mess up what i was doing... Anyone have a solution? Thanks =)

I am going to buy a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS, but i want to know what brand i should get..... XFX or BFG?......they are both overclocked, but in different ways....here are the specs of each:

BFG:

-710MHz (vs. 675MHz standard)

-Memory Data rate: 2000 (vs. 1000 standard)

I bought a new computer with windows vista and when I hook up to my verizon wireless modem it stays on for maybe ten minutes then as I am surfing it will take a long time to load a page, and a message will come up saying it cannot load the page or some crap. I dont think its my modem because my other computer stays online the whole time, no problems. Even when the vista computer is not "online" it is connected to the internet. I have turned the power options so it wont turn off wireless, and there is no timer on the wireless as far as I know. anyway, any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

I just recived an HP EC680 analogue TV tuner which I bought off ebay. The Problem is it didnt come with a manual or any instructions. I tried looking for a maual online but have had no luck. I have bell exspressVu satellite and have tried hooking it up directly and through the box but windows media center still says theres no signal. Please any info is appreciated.

the last numbers (that wouldn't fit starting question box) are 0x07BAA860) - I get this blue screen of death right in the middle of doing just about anything on my laptop and at any time from 30 seconds from starting up to several minutes later. The only clue that I get that it is coming is a ticking noise from somewhere in the computers insides (hard disk?) that always precedes the blue screen. I would be very grateful if somebody out there could suggest how to fix this problem. I've been wondering if a registry cleaner like www.regcure.com might help? But obviously I'm not technically minded enough to know the solution! - I've tried a complete system restore with the Compaq Quick restore software that came with my laptop but the blue screen always comes back to haunt me! - PLEASE HELP!!!

My laptop takes about 10-20 minutes to fully load to the Desktop. I already did a disk cleanup with CCleaner, defragged, ran a full system scan with Norton AV, ran Spybot, Windows Defender and no viruses were detected. I also deleted stuff from my startup tab, but should I delete these:
ccApp ...CommonFiles/Symantec Shared and osCheck..ProgrammeFiles/Norton Internet Security? I usually run the updates manually. I am running on Windows XP, 80GB HDD and 512MB DDR2. Why is my startup still slow?

Ok i was trying to sell a zune on ebay, and it was sold a few hours ago. I have been running Win2K on a machine that has no internet connectivity (it's a business machine and I want no virus / spyware liability hooking it up to the net). I just found out that a necessary software upgrade requires me to upgrade to XP. So it's a simple enough question: can you install Windows XP onto a PC that is NOT connected to the internet or do you need the net to complete any part of the install? Win2K did not require it, but I am not sure about XP.
