My computer is of Windows XP but the USB driver software (related to Camera Kyocera Finecam L4) is for Windows 98, 98SE and Mac OS8.6. My computer requests to make changes in the system to download the CD. I have no previous experience in this matter. How can I make this software useful?

is there anywhere i can download a free back up program(similar to norton ghost/acronis true image) that can back up my os and restore it in the event of a fatal system crash
i will be backing up to dvdrw so this should be a requirment
any ideas guys?

I have just reinstalled ie7 trying but failing to solve an issue: I cannot find ie7 on my computer. The folder is there in c:program files/internet explorer but there is no icon to start up the application.

I doesn't show up in "add or remove programs" either.

If I do a Google desktop search I can find it but if instead of opening it, I "open folder" it's no where to be seen.

I use Firefox as my browser but must check my work on other browsers as well.

I have installed all known codecs and I can play the file if I save it and then open it. My question is, why won't the file automatically play in Windows Media Player when I click on the link? I would greatly appreciate any help that can be offered.

I mean, come on. Instead of asking what's this error, what do usb ports look like, how does this work, or whatever, try searching yourself. It's faster, easier, and in most cases more accurate than the looney answers I find on here.

I am trying to install a 320GB harddrive in my new PC. unfortunetly the win xp cd that i have is the original xp (pre sp1) and it is restricting my hd to 137GB. i have updated the OS with SP2 and with all of the other critical and non-critical updates but still cant get OS to recognize the HD. My mobo recognises the drive so there is no issue with the BIOS. i tried to modify the registry by adding EnableBigLba to the parameter section and still no luck, unless i was adding it to the wrong section. i will greatly appreciate any feedback from the PC gurus here. Thank you all in advance.

At my friends house they have wireless internet. They have a desktop and 2 laptops. The desktop and one laptop works and connects to the wireless internet with no problem but the other laptop stopped connecting to the wireless internet at their house this month. If we take that laptop anywhere else it connects with no problem. Any suggestions.

Like 3 days ago my computer was working fine, it was soooo fast. It had some games in it and we used the internet. Then like 2 days ago that i turned it on it took like 10 minutes to start when it would only take 30 seconds before. and when i try to open a programm it will take like 30 minutes. Also the screen got stretched, and i dont know why. It just suddenly got mega slow, and i want to fix this. Tell me if you know what caused it or if you know how to fix it/.

I bought some RAM a while back and i installed in np. but when i was taking the old one out (cuz i was going to use it on something else) the inside of the lid touched a drop of water and when i put the lid over the RAM i saw the drop of water too late, and it got right one of the black chips. so, is it dangerous to use now? since then its just been sitting around my house. in its little box. i did dry it the second i saw the water.

its only a huge blank box with little shapes up in the left hand corner. like a little red square and yellow triange maybe a blue square. i dont know what the exact little shapes and colors are but that gets my point across- i hope. when i right click and show picture it doesnt do anything. any ideas? any help? thanks
