I cannot find internet explorer 7 on my computer?

I have just reinstalled ie7 trying but failing to solve an issue: I cannot find ie7 on my computer. The folder is there in c:program files/internet explorer but there is no icon to start up the application.

I doesn't show up in "add or remove programs" either.

If I do a Google desktop search I can find it but if instead of opening it, I "open folder" it's no where to be seen.

I use Firefox as my browser but must check my work on other browsers as well.

Here is what u do. if you have installed it, you need to go to the start menu, and click on Search. then type in Internet explorer 7. it should pull it up and there u go

should default to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe.

if it's not there and you used install defaults, reinstall it
