Does anyone know how to change the outline-colour of the desktop elements and icons from blue in to....well, back into transparent?....because i seemed to have changed it by accident somehow....

Could anyone help me, please? :)

Why does my text type backward at times?

I have run into a very intermittent problem on my computer. From time to time I come to my pc, do a little bit of work and surfing, then when I type a few minutes later, all the text (no matter where I'm typing - Firefox, IE, any software) appears backwards. I can even place the cursor in the correct spot, and it will even move all the way to the left. It's like my left arrow key is stuck.

I can't narrow this problem down. The software I thought was causing this has been deleted, as well as other things. I've run countless virus scans. My language settings are set to the correct option.

I'm running XP Pro SP2. Someone, Help, please.

Is there a way to open a folder with keyboard on Mac?

I'm using mac from almost an year & haven't been able to find if there is a way to open a folder with keyboard on mac. We've to double click it with mouse or change view options to use it with keyboard. I've tried different key combinations but nothing worked.

If this option isn't available, can we do it manually by our key comb.

Ubuntu on parallels for macbook?

I am trying to install Ubuntu 7.04 on my Macbook under parallels. my macbook has 2GB of RAM and a 120GB HD. it is a 2GHz. When I am installing ubuntu it installs fine until it says detecting hardware and it says something about "piix", then i freezes and wont go anymore. I want to be able to install the XGL and Beryl graphics on it.

Any suggestions???

Is ms word the same thing as Microsoft word?

I prof. wants everything saved using Microsoft word. I have Word Perfect and when I go to save something I have the option of saving it as ms word. Is that the same thing? I hope so. Thanks for your time.

windows vista to windows XP?

i need help in finding proper devices. ive changed vista to xp. my problem now is, ive install all hardware except for modem device because i cant find the compatible one for my laptop (compaq presario v3000). i think the modem is build in for vista. does anyone knows where can i find the hardware device? and one more, theres no sound coming out from my laptop too, ive installed the soundcard device already but still theres no sound.

what does S-Video (TV-Out) port do?

Does it allow me to record my TV or (even better) from my cable box to my laptop? What is a tv card - are they on my computer already? How do I connect these things, S-video computer to cable box?

Any suggestions to help me record to my laptop? Do I need to just buy certain cables or is more needed? I have nero 7 ultra edition which should allow this.

How to fax with my Dell all in one printer?-all answers will get thumbs up.?

I have a dell inspiron 1501 laptop and a dell 926 all-in-one printer/fax/copy/scanner. I also have a comcast cable modem that i use to connect to the internet. I dont have any type of land phone. is it posible that i can send and receive faxes? and if i can please tell me how or links to a website on how to do so. Outlook :How do you send email to list and have only "Undisclosed Recipient" in address line.?

I always include the list of my recpients in the bcc line for privacy, but I don't know how to have the "To:" line reflect as above. Currently I just put my own address in there but I'm sure there is a better solution.

I am planning to build a website based on PC support. If one of my page talked about virus & spywares should I change the of that particular page with the the appropriate keywords? In order words each time I talk about a different subject in my different Webpages should I change title/keywords etc..?
