Virtual Memory is space allocated on your hard drive for those times that your physical memory (RAM) is not enough.
To increase the amount of virtual memory go to Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory "Change" > Custom Size > adjust as needed. 2 times your physical RAM is a good minimum and 3 times your physical memory in MB is good for your maximum.

You need to increase the size of your pagefile (Swap, virtual memory)...This is easily done...
1. Rightclick My Computer, then Properties.
2. Click Advanced, then on the window that opens, in Performance click the Settings button.
3. Now in the window that opens click the Advance tab.
4. At the bottom of the window that opens with be Virtual memory. Click the Change button.
5. Check the Custom box and change it to Twice your memory card's amount...So if you have 1GB of memory the put the Virtual memory at 2048. Put this in both boxes. Click Set, then click OK then reboot for the changes to take place...now you got lots of virtual memory!

that is just saying that you don't have enough RAM to support normal operation, look to see wha ttype and speed of RAM you have, for example look for something like "256 MB PC2100" or "512MB DDR 400". And then get some more, a good rule of thumb is hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and look at the performance tab in the Task Manager, you will see on the left side, something that says physical memory or PF memory. What ever that number is, double it, and buy the RAM chip that is greater. For instance, lets say that you see the number 344, then doubled it's 688, so go buy a 1 GB which is 1024MB, and problem solved.

it means that the memory that your computer uses actually is a bit low and you can configure your computer to borrow that needed memory from your free space of your hard drive. but dont maximize or increase the borrowed memory to high though as it will slow your computer a bit.
right click on my computer
click properties
on properties window click on advanced tab
under advanced click on performance options
on the performance options window click on change under virtual memory
highlight the drive you want to borrow memory from and set the minimum and maximum size

Low virtual mem means that ur PC is running om low mem.Check ur hars disk,If parted disks then check one by one and clean the one which does not have much disk space.Windows and other applications need mem to run.So basically make more space on ur local hard drives.
