the log says 6 TCP
in local adress
all have status TIME_WAIT
what is that?
can some one give me a brief and quick tutorial?
when should i be worried?

what is the formula i can use to add up the instances of the same word in a selection of cells?

what is wrong when you save a paint file as JPEG and you are only able to access it in the AdobePhotoshop Album starter 3.0 and not in Adobe Reader 8.0? How can you access this file on a computer that only has Adobe Reader 8.0?

I took tons of pictures and don't want to email pictures separately to everyone. Is there a site where I can post all of them and give them a link and password so they can see it? I have a HP PSC 2355 printer and have just bought a refill kit because the cartridges are too expensive ! ! !
Does anyone know how to turn off the ink level estimators or reset the printer/cartridge so it recognises it as a new one?

i m having a toshiba laptop.its a 1997 model with 4 gb hard ,2 pentium and 128 ram.yesterday i did defregmentation of my drive.then after 5 minute there was only the desktop background and no startmenu n no icons...then i restarted my computer....it was taking alot of time to initialize.......then there was a cheaking of hard disk...."the computer was replacing cluster file"...
today morning when i i was reinstalling xp......it was stop after 57 %....then i did it again......n same thing happened again...
but in evening when i enter xp cd......there was an error........
plzzzzzz help me.....

When I'm trying to install the modem, the computer doesn't automatically recognize the modem inserted even though I did this manually through control panel it still did not recognize any modem I placed in the computer. The modem is new. Is there any solution to this problem? what are the steps. pls help.

I have the following script:

function LoadMainAndMessage(MainURL, MyMessage) {
  if (MainURL) {
    parent.frames['main'].location=MainURL;
  }
  if (MyMessage) {
    alert(MyMessage);
  }
}

which is triggered with a body onload command. Whenever I pass it something, it always does the ALERT first! How can I get it to display the alert AFTER the page has loaded (or at lease started loading?)

ie: I send LoadMainAndMessage("http://www.yahoo.com","Page Loading") and I'd like it to :

1) Load page http://www.yahoo.com in the "Main" frame, THEN
2) Display "Page Loading" as an alert (once the page HAS started loading!)
3) Require the user to click OK or CLOSE on the alert box

Instead, what it does now is:

1) Display "Page Loading"
2) Wait for the user to click OK or CLOSE on the alert box
THEN
3) Starts loading http://www.yahoo.com into the MAIN frame.
