We have a wireless network in the house, and we believe that our neighbor is using it. How do we set up a password to stop him?

Comcast is useless when we ask.

We have 3 pcs all XP and would like to network them. However whenever we try from the pc connected to the ethernet (the other 2 are wireless) it doesnt work. Are we doing something wrong?

My computer is running well excpt now when i downloaded somthing that became corrupted in limewire now even though i deleted it now limewire opens up like 10 of the limewire programs and under the programs downloaded part it downloaded a bunch of programs that i didnt want and when i delete them they just come back ... what should i do?

hi, my dell laptop came pre installed with windows. And it messed up, so i brought a copy of ebay nd it come with a key.
Now i get a notice saying its not genuine....

what can i do to validate my old key?

it is stuck under the laptop.

Basicall im torn between an acer 5633 wlmi (intel core 2 t5500) or an amd(turion x2 tl52) powered dell. I've seen alot of negative reports about acers build quality, however the general specs are alot better then the dell for less money. Any advice or thoughts on these, or other brands would be great. I got a budget of £600 max. Thanks!

How do I find out if the files I'm downloading at Bearshare is good?

I've been downloading a lot of stuffs from Bearshare and some folks shares their files as if it was a good file/app or a good movie, after youve downloaded it, either the files is not a valid archive/corrupted and also movies with titles such as "Spiderman 3, Ghost Rider..." ends up to be "Amitiville Horror" everytime... I usually use tags such as "aXXo" to get a list of movies.. Anyone who has a solution for my problem?

This may seem daft but I'm not sure if my intel pentium 4 3.06ghz processor is dual core or not, the pc was bought new about a year ago. When I view system information it shows the processor info twice, also when I go to device manage it shows the information twice as if there are 2 processors (dual core) can anyone shed any ligt as to if this all means I actually have a dual core processor. cheers.

Hi,
Mine is Dell Laptop, I bought one year back. It is working well, but the problem is with the battery, after charging it completely with 100% and i disconnect the plug, it is being for 45min only with out power supply, previously it is used to be for more than 2 1/2 hours.
what would be the problem? Is there any problem with battery ? or is there any problem with laptop?

I came across a couple of 7 foot long slide rules. They are "Pickett" brand and made of wood. Does anyone have any idea WHY Pickett would make these? Are they worth anything? They are too bulky and heavy to really use.
