When we right click on the windows 98 desk top, we get a menu, in which "LINE UP ICONS" is one of the items. But when we click on that, nothing happens. Why is it so ? (I Know most of the people would have migrated to windows xp/ windows vista, but still this doubt has been in my mind for the past several years ) !

I think that's what it is... when I go to the computer section I see two hard drives, each with ~53 GB each. If I am right in thinking these are two seperate drives, is there any reason I shouldnt have it this way? All my other computers only have one main drive.

Hi guys i have a problem adding another harddisk on my Virtual PC (Windows Server 2003). I cannot edit the settings, i think i did something to make the settings locked. Is there anyway i can edit it or do i have to reinstall a Virtual PC all over again?

I can't find the box the product came in -- now I can't register it. When I open the program, it now automatically calls the document "Document2". When I try to type anything, it won't work. At the bottom of the screen it says, "This modification is not allowed because the selection is locked." HUH?!?

I am the original buyer of this product. I bought it at my local computer dealer/store. They have record of me buying it. I can't use it until I register it. HELP! Also, how many computers can I install it on? Thanks.

I am starting to use a USB drive to store my calendar and other important information. How safe is the data from electromagnetic fields and other problems. Also, I share the thumbdrive between a Visa and an XP machine. Is there a way to encrypt the drive (or a folder containing all the files on the drive) which would work on both computers--preferably freeware? It is a cruzer micro 1 GB btw. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I was fixing my boss' computer since it was FULL of viruses and spyware, and I started it in safe mode and then restarted it in normal mode, but one major problem... XP LOST THE NETWORK SETTINGS! I can't seem to get it to detect the network anymore! I need help on how to add this computer back onto the network without tearing down the network and building it back up. PLEASE HELP! I love you for it!
Is there any way fro me to retrieve the netsetup.exe file?
It seems like it doesn't find the other network even if I put them in the same workgroup...

ok i restarted my pc and this came up when trying to boot up.

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt.
WINDOWS\system\c_1252.nls

then it says to put the OS disc in and hit R to repair it.
i do that but then it just takes me to what looks like a command line script thing. what do i type in to fix it?
if anyone could help i would really appreciate it. i have a lot of sentimental things on there.

This is Weird Because i have AntiVires Call McAfee installed on my computer , and it came with a cd still. Just to let you all know i didnt download this Anti Virus From the Internet.

Okay What i want to know, is why this keeps Happening when my FiresWall is on.. and the Anti Virus. When im using the internet , in about 3 to 5 minutes Porns Video Automatically Pops Out from widow Media player 11 withouth me going to Window media player 11 and click in it .. thats ball Sh!t Yo..
