i'm sure that my videocard is working coz i tested it on my friends computer...

Try using another monitor? Check the cable and make sure all the pins are there and are not bent.

Is the monitor connected properly?
And does the monitor power on by itself? If it doesn't try using a different outlet plug.
If the monitor turns on, it might be the Video Cable.
Check if the computer card is placed in properly. and the computer doesn't have any beep errors. You could also try a different monitor

does it...work at all??? it should haf an orange/yellow light when its off...also the REFRESH rate of the monitor matters a lot....need more information bout ur question....does it work at all???????!u got lcd or tube??? sry but theres really no info here...good luck tho

maybe there's something wrong in the monitor.

Many things can cause this, faulty video, RAM, board etc.
