my laptop has a problem that i havent come across before when i first boot it up it keeps trying to connect to the internet this i can sort out but it can work for about an hour no problem and then it will open god knows how many pages on the net and keeps going back to my home page,now i have nortons antivirus software 2006 and a spyware program running in the back ground could it be due to the laptop needing more ram?
i have never had this problem before the laptop is only just over a year old i don't want to wipe it unless i have to can anyone help

I bought a computer microphone a couple of months ago from best buy for like 10 bucks, and when i plug it in the red slot on the back, i hear the microphone, but other people cant hear it, no matter what. i checked the settings for the program i use, and there fine, so im assuming its my mic. any ideas?

they don't anymore. I need to be able to get product pictures through my emails. These are pictures that I have been given the okay to put on my website on the condition that I buy from them! (Some companies do change their policy after they make some sales!) The main thing is I need a firewall program that allows product pictures to come through in email and attachments! Well i have Intenet with Verizon and i have the Antiontec GT704WG. I login yo my Router and it said:
Speed(Down/Up): 861 / 156 Kbps

But when i actually download something of the internet it goes at 90kps max....
Why is this please help me.

Another thing. I scan my pc for viruses or trojans or spywares. But nothign was found.
I use Nod32 and Ewido for spyware removal. Please help.

I click the "more information" line and I'm told that some sites have invalid security certificates or expired security certificates, thus not allowing me access to sites I have regularly visited in the past. Red warning signals pop up on my toolbar and a page shows up recommended me to leave the website. A red shield also shows up on the toolbar alongside the words "certificate errors". I don't know what to do, because the sites I go to are necessary for me to access. It just started appearing within the last week, even though I did nothing to change things like adding programs.

my trend micro pc-cillin internet security has been finding viruses for about a week, and since then, my internet connection has slowed down considerably from even 3 weeks ago(I have DSL!). and the last viruses were found today and the name of the virus is:
TROJ_MAILBOT.BC located in the C drive.

please help me with getting rid of it, because it now just "quarantined" and mayb my internet will work faster?

It was recommended to put in the chest. Ok, I did all this. Now, what? Do I delete them and if so how do I do it? It shows an icon, refresh, why would I want to refresh those viruses? Just confused and do not want those viruses in my computer.
