This is probably ad ware, basically something has installed itself on your computer whilst on the Internet and is now trying to connect to the Internet and attempting to connect you to advert sites. You need to runs some ad-ware removal software, i would recommend ad-aware free addition that you can download and run for free. Download the software from www.adaware.com then install choosing the defaults and then check for updates once installed, this will download the latest definition files. Then run a full system scan it will detect the ad-ware and remove. i would recommend to restart you computer and run it again to remove all ad-ware. this should solve your problem.

Sounds like spyware. Run a couple of good spyware sweeps. I suggest Spybot and Adaware. See if that helps. If not I would suggest you reload your OS. Be sure to backup your personal data first.

Click on start, go to all programs, then go to accressories, then go to system tools then click on system restore... Then restore your computer to the 24 of june. If 24th is not available, try the 23rd
