i have a laptop and wireless internet conexion, but i would like to get a stronger singnal,,i had been told about a sort of antenna that you put in your laptop to pick up a better and stronger signal,,but i dont know how are they called therefore i am not sure what to ask for in a shop...any help please.

Sorry, there is no way to increase your signal dtreangth in your laptop by fooling with the antenna.

You can try placing the router in a more central location in your home and also try placing it atleast 6 feet off the ground.

You can try purchasing a PCMCIA Wireless network adapter, a wireless card, and install that in your laptop and use it instead of the built in wireless you already have, sometimes the antennas built into laptops suck really bad.

Generally there is no way to change the aerial on a laptop. Try repositioning the router or access point, it needs to be as high as possible, with no or few obstructions between it and the laptop.
