Maybe you're taking about the internet being slower in rural areas? Cause it's all the same speed whenever you are, why don't you try looking at HP models? It's as good as dell..

Laptop speeds aren't effected by where the laptop is. The best place to check would be your local Best Buy/Future Shop/Circuit City/What ever major electronics store you might have. Because they sell things in mass they can usually afford to have decent sales on cheaper laptop models to attract customers.
