I have a 60 day trial version of word 2007 on my new laptop and I`ve activated it yesterday, when I try to open a new document or edit previous documents today it tells me that "this modification is not allowed because the selectin is locked" Please can somebody help me.

If you find that you want word and excel and can't afford the cost. Give OpenOffice a test drive, you will find that it is a great option.
Wait, I didn't tell you that it is free.

You have only a trial version, a lot of the task are disabled, other words it not worth putting on your computer unless your going to buy it..... It only a sample.... Sorry.....

You buy a copy, Microsoft will supply a code to unlock it.
