the reason must be one of the following y u find viruses even after u format...

either u r only formatting the drive that contains os...or u might be copying some files like ur pics, musik, vidoe$ etc into disk and u might be restoring them into pc after formatting..so if viruses are in ur pics or music or whatever u copied they r then bak again on pc..so better do one thing...format all the drives...b4 that copy ur personal files into thumb drive,cd or dvd...take it to one of ur friend's pc that has good updated version of any anti virus like norton or something...then copy all the files into a foleder in his pc...now erase tha disk or throw away it and take another disk.then scan ur folder with the antivirus in his pc..kill alll viruses if any...copy them to ur new disk or thumb drive and have them copied to ur pc..while returning from ur friend's house go into a pc shop and buy a good antivirus software so that this wont happen again...make sure ur friend's pc is not virus effected..most probably it wont have any virus if it has good anti virus.

Impossible if you actually reformatted your pc. The viruses are on the disk, you used and most likely in some of the programs that you reinstalled.

If you ran your antivirus and you still have the viruses you can run an "online scanner" for viruses direct from the labs of Kaspersky Russia. The scan may take upto two hours depending on how many running processes you have and how many program installed. After the complete scan as the virusus will be killed in real time I suggust you reboot your pc.

Just not possible. You may not have formatted the hard disk in the first place. Or the cd that you are using to install software itself may be containing virii

-see that you have actually formatted the hard disk
-scan your backup cds for virii
