all this sounds like spyware, trojans and other stuff for me. download a good anti-spyware and run a scan and delete everything found. maybe you should even get antvirus if you don't use one. you need both antivirus and antispyware and use them regularly to keep your computer safe. in case you don't use antispyware try spyware doctor: http://www.2-spyware.com/review-spyware-doctor.html
and please be smart, don't use limewire, who still has it?

You can use "online virus scanner", Kaspersky Lab of Russia, rated # 1 in antivirus detection. Will not conflict with your current antivirus program. Will scan direct from the servers of Kaspersky. Allow the complete scan to run as it may two upto two hours, depending on how many running processes you have and how many programs installed. After the scan kills the viruese in real time, I suggest you reboot your pc.

Yes it isn't best viable however it honestly occurs. I had ESET Nod32 antivirus downloaded for an ordeal interval. When the trial interval used to be almost over I attempted to take away the programme from my PC and I could not do away with it. I attempted the whole thing to do away with it or disable it and I could not. Within per week of the trial interval finishing the motherboard on my laptop were utterly inflamed with viruses which an additional antivirus programme I had established might now not delete.

Firstly update and run your anti-virus product.
Second download, update and run scans using the following products:
SuperAntispyware
http://superantispyware.com/
Spybot S&D (free version requires manual updating)
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
AVG AntiSpyware
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5
Adaware from Lavasoft (free version requires automatic updating)
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
Third, after cleaning your system, disable System Restore, reboot and re-enable System Restore when you log back on. This will clear the malware that may still be lurking in System Restore, which could be reinstalkled should you need to rollback at some point.

It could be many things, but I would suggest as a first step you download and run ccleaner with the "issues" option. You've almost certainly got registry issues.
ccleaner is excellent and doesn't cost unless you choose to donate.
Report back after that and advise how things are going. We can then look into antivirus options.

Scan your computer with your antivirus program if you have one.
If not scan with a online scanner before downlading something.
Download a antivirus program. If you don’t have it.
AVG and Avast has some free ones. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-virus-cleaner.html
There are more free antivirus programs out there. What’s the best of them I don’t know, but Avast and AVG are good.
I use Norton Internet Security.
Also try scanning with some antivirus online scanner like http://www.bitdefender.com/ and a security/antivirus scanner like http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/home.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym&plfid=23&pkj=QVLBZTVOGXFSTZHSZPW&bhcp=1
You also need a firewall. If you don’t have one that is. ZoneAlarm has a free one.
http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/sku_list_za.jsp;jsessionid=GcFIn2wsmBu1XxQceQKRSqGfL9zm7PLpR2R4z9G1Ux8kAskyuuMG!-618052328!-1062696904!7551!7552!NONE?dc=34std&ctry=&lang=nb&lid=trial_zaFamily
Disable Windows firewall if it’s not disabled automatically. That is if you download another firewall.
Also have some spyware/adware removers like Ad Aware SE Personal and Spybot-S&D.
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
( Download Ad Aware here http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html )
AVG also have a free anti spyware. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1
You can also scan with a online anti-spyware scanner like Ewido anti-spyware. http://www.ewido.net/en/
Ewido anti-spyware 4.0 is now AVG anti-spyware 7.5.

Firewall software http://www.econsultant.com/firewall/i-want-to-protect-my-pc-with-a-firewall.html
http://www.econsultant.com/spyware-database/how-to-remove-adware.html
*Note: Have only one antivirus program and one firewall installed on you computer.
Adware/spyware removers are ok to have more of.
