install the application....it will then scan the hardware id code of all the hardware inside your computer...you don't need to know anything as all the info about your ati card is stored in the card itself and driver guide will find it....it will then take you to the manufacturers site to get the correct driver for your card....read everything you see on the ati page...don't just grab anything that just sounds like it might do....good luck

You need the *RIGHT* driver for your video card. No point trying to install the wrong driver.
Find out what video card your PC has, find the driver it needs. Exact model, not just maker.
