i have new web site new domain name .Web site says its ok but if not working wait 24hrs after adding domain name. Been closer to 36hrs and none of the search engines can find it . Is there something else i havent done..

I bought my Gateway laptop new from BestBuy about a year and a half ago. Up until about 6 months ago, my computer would automatically connect to any wireless networks that were available. Now, it won't show any wireless networks available even when I know there is at least one, such as at a public place with Wifi. I've tried to repair the wireless connection and it displays this message: "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the followinng action cannot be completed: Connecting to the wireless network."

The part before this was a copy of another question on here but it was never answered and now one of the people at work has the same problem any ideas?

I've also uninstalled the device and let windows pick it up on startup and I still get the same error.

I have a Nvidia Geforce 6200 and my computer shuts down when I play ElderScrolls Oblivion or Dark Messiah the game plays great with no lagg or anything like that what happen??

oh and The other games like Archlord,WoW, and Red Orchestra doesent make my computer shutdown

i want to fit six pictures on a MS Word document, to basically take up the whole document, but when i try to paste one right next to the other, it goes BELOW, the pic, so instead of having
2 then 2 then 2, i have just one column with 3 pics, i cant seem to paste pictures right next to each other, instead of pasting it right next to it, it goes below the pictures

any suggestions what i can do? or am i doing something wrong?

I can not get to Windows...can not get past the password screen. We forgot the password for one of our laptops, and it was the only user and the admin on that laptop. Microsoft said that the only option is to reinstall windows.

HOW exactly can I do that if I can not get past the password request screen (EVEN in safe mode)?

Can someone explain where I need to go in BIOS in order to reinstall with the disk??

I have a hard drive case and I need to buy a hard drive but first I need to find out if I need a Parallel ATA (PATA) or Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive...

I left-click on the little icon by the clock, verify that I want to "safely remove" my flash drive. Then I get a window that says, "The device 'Generic volume' cannot be stoped right now. Try stopping the device again later."... with a "OK" button.


So... I right-click the little icon by the clock and I verify that I want to "safely remove hardware" and I get a dialog box- "Safely Remove Hardware"... it says, "Select the device you want to unplug or eject, and then click Stop. When Windows notifies you that it is safe to do so unplug the device from your computer." Only one item available for selection, USB Mass Storage Device, so I just click Stop.

Then another dialog box-- "Confirm devices to be stoped, choose OK to continue. Windows will attempt to stop the following devices. Afther the devices are stopped they may be removed safely." I get 3 options- USB Mass Storage Device, Generic Volume, and the brand name of my flash drive. No matter which one I pick...

In computer when we zoom in a photo, or we wanna zoom in the farthest part in the photo, it gets blurry. As i saw in Tv professionals use some programme that can zoom in any part in the picture & they fix the pixels. Can anybody help me with that?

I brought a new Pc a week ago. It has a strange problem, it simply restarts (reboots) with out any reason.

I consulted my vender he said it was the problem with the power supply the first time and he changed it, the second time he changed the RAM.

I want to start fresh and restore my system, but I can't find the restore disc. I have a Dell computer. I was wondering if anybody knew a way I could restore my computer without that disc. I have a few discs, but I'm not sure which one to use; they're pretty unclear. The anti-virus software I have are AVG, spybot and Ad-aware. AVG is not stalling mid-scan, so that's not getting me anywhere. The rest of them catch some but can't get all of it. Now everything's slow, and popups keep flooding in. I can't even uninstall programs, because of these viruses. Could anybody give me a hand with all this?

ATI X850xt PE.
Gigabyte DS-3 with Conroe E6400.

Since the crashing has started, I have tried both newest and older catalyst drivers to no avail. Tried system restore point, no luck. Checked hardware (temps/votage), I would say it is a software/driver problem for sure. Happens only while gaming (or heavy graphics card load?), no error messages nothing, just shuts down like a power outage.

Any ideas? I am usually really savy with computers but no error messages or graphics glitches has thrown me for a loop.

i have installed 1 gig of ram and another with 256 of ram. my motherboard said that the newly installed ram (1 gig) would be compatible but on my computer, it says i have only 256 mb of ram. when i did an analysis of my computer it said..
