see ur laptops manual, if ur brand says that it's the battery that ur laptop requires then u should hook it up. But i don't think u should hook up a 3.16A battery with a 1.35A laptop.

I'm no electricity expert, but I don't think you'd want to try it. The power supply you found is well over twice the amperage and 1v increase... yeah, doesn't sound like a good idea.

It doesn't matter what brand of adapter you use. Every company says you should buy theirs, but there are only 2 reasons for that - 1. you can fry things if you get an adapter at the wrong rating and 2. they want to make money on them.

Your best bet is to find an ac adapter with the exact power rating that your laptop requires (which should be listed on a label on the bottom of it).

amps doesnt mean anything... if you have a power supply that has an output of 18volts with 100amps... it would still work...
volts= pressure... too much presser and it can fry whatever its plugged into...

amps=volume... it the amount of electrons the power supply can safely can provide before the power supply burns up...

so it should work fine... just make sure that the + and - on the powersupply match the ones on the laptop... or it will fry the laptop...

Do NOT use it. 3.16A is too much!!!

Get an exact replacement from your laptop manufacturer.

1 or 2 volts higher will effect ur laptop, will charge battery fast and will reduce battery life same goes with ampares, if less volts it will slow down the charging ur battery and so. better get the exact one as per required
