I often exchange files between my personal and office computer using a USB key. How do I avoid viruses being transfered as well? I have Bitdefender anti virus on my office computer and nothing as yet on my personal computer.

There should be a setting in your virus software that say scan removable media. If this is enabled it will scan the key every time you insert it. Im not sure if this is exactly what you were looking for or else its just the basic rules of watching out for viruses

Any good Anti-virus can scan a USB key. Just highlight the files On the USB key and right-click to scan with AVG, free from:

Bit Defender must have a similar feature, but I'm not familiar with it.

put Avast! antivirus on your home computer, it is free and automatically scans all removable media when u insert it. Not sure of the website, but do a quick google for Avast antivirus (yes i used google as a verb)
