windows firewall or lavasoft firewall?

I find Windows firewall as good as any available, without loading the machine excessively, and is very simple to configure if need be.

The Windows Firewall in XP is better than nothing, but barely.

I didn't know Lavasoft made a firewall, maybe you are thinking of Zone Alarm?

TIP: If you use a hardware router, you don't need either.

I would reccomend downloading a firewall compatible with your internet programming, otherwise you may have connectivity issues
