There are websites to report viruses you find to. They have been there a long time.
You can report to McAfee, Norton, your ISP, the owner of the IP address.... and numersous other antivirus sites.
You might also be able to report to Brightmail.com who does virus scanning for verious ISP's

It sounds like a good idea, but I have no idea how to tell where I got a virus on my computer. I'm not even sure that's what is wrong with my computer. If you know the answer to - how do you know- you are ahead of most of the rest of us. There are people who track down viruses so they must have a place already to report them. People have already gone to jail for creating and spredding viruses. Someone found them.
