I just got done spraying engine degreaser on my engine, and then rinsing it off ten minutes later at a car wash. Of course the engine was NOT running while I was washing it. Now, it runs really rough, like it wants to sputter out, and its lacking power. I'm hoping that it'll go back to normal after it drys out...whats causing this?

My suv was in an accident.It has to have a new fender and side panel.It also need some supports for the fender,healight assemble,and other small things.They said yesterday that the finns on the raditor were busted what does that mean.If something were to go wrong down the road would they be liable.Yes,the repairs are lifetime warranted.I haven't been though this so please help.Yes,there is insurance on the car and yes it was my husbands fault.Please help!

it's for a project car I have. '87 AMC Eagle 4wd sedan works good will start when engine is cold, but once the engine has been turned of it wont start untill it cools down. has anyone ever runned into this problem?and how could I resolve it?

I have a 98 suburban and i was driving down the interstate and the rim fell off. Three of the studs snapped and two of them stayed on, but the threads were all messed up. What would cause this to happen?

I have 16 inch wheels now in my 2001 Mercury Cougar, but I always have trouble with ice getting stuck in the wells and wearing out the tire tread. Will getting 15 inch wheels help?

I went to shift my car from drive to reverse, when there was a clinking noise. Now it makes this winding noise when i put it in reverse and hit the gas. It still goes forward, but you can still hear the winding noise faintly. Is my transmission compltely out or is it something else. Also, does anyone know how much that would cost me??

I have a problem with the passenger side windows not working. The battery was dying and I attributed it to that but then I replaced it and they still do not work. The driver side ones do work but the front passenger one sounds like the motor tries to move but doesn't and I just get a click with the passenger rear one. I was also having a problem with the left turn signal lighting up when I hit the brake pedal. It corrected itself somehow though.
A couple of things; I did try and jump it when the battery was dead. Also, I just bought a phone charger and plugged it in the cigarette lighter. It seemed to start not too long after this. I didn't notice any shorts and I have used one before and never had a problem.
I checked fuses and didn't see any labeled window motor. Also checked fuse and relay box next to battery and didn't see anything labeled that would be helpful.
Any help would be appreciated and any other questions I will read and follow up with.

My tires are fairly new and one of them got damaged a little bit. How can I stick the flap back in place? I've tried crazy glue, but the tire seemed to just absorb it. I tried some gasket sealer thing and that was just a useless mess. Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you all for your help!

alrighty guys, so i got a cone filter today, its not top of the line but it looks okay, at least for me starting, it has oil that came with it, my question is do i apply the oil to the filter before i put it on or do u think it should be ok from when i bought it?? btw then how do you apply it?? sry if dumb question but please help...

I just got home and noticed the lights were on and I tried to turn the headlights on and then off, started the car back up and turned it off, pushed the brake repeatedly and still stuck, kinda weird. I have never had any problems with them before.

I have a 96 LE SC AWD with 149000 on the clock, however when turning
hard (like making a U turn its feels like its grinding or that
something is preventing the tires from turning smoothly) Also I have

The car would not start. I just got that clicking sound you get when the battery is no putting out enough power. I had the battery checked; it tested bad. I replaced the battery and everything was fine. 2 days later, the check battery lamp came back on. I tightened the connectors and thelamp extenguished. 2 days later, it's back on and won't go off....The car starts and runs fine.

I have an Astra 1.6 Club. My garage tells me that, when the airconditioning is switched on, it stalls the engine. The garage says it is not sufficient just to avoid switching the airconditioning on as, even if this avoided, eventually the broken airconditioning system could damage the engine. Is the garage right? How soon should I get the problem fixed?

I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport and I want to recharge the A/C since it just blows warm air now. I bought an Interdynamics "Big Chill" can and hook it up to the low pressure valve. I check the gauge and when the compressor is NOT running it reads almost 70psi, but when the compressor is on it reads about 15-20psi.

Should I be reading the gauge when the compressor is on or off? I don't want to overcharge it.

I currently have a battery rated at Volts = 12, Amp-Hour = 11, CCA = 160 . I want to go with a sealed battery and the closest thing I could find is rated at Volts = 12 , Amp Hour = 14, CCA = 210. My question is what problems will I run into with this change?

I recently purchase brand new tires on my 3000GT VR4. All four tire was mounted, aligned, and balanced but NOT nitrogen filled by Tire Plus. When I drive over 60mph and turn a little bit the steering wheel shakes. It's been a month since I got the new tires. I had this problem before but I was assuming that it was because of my bad tires but when I got new tires it still shakes. Could it be a bad balancing job or could be something else? Thanks for your help
