im installing a flowmaster exhaust tomorrow how can i look for exhaust leaks...What do i look/hear for

its a clamp on im not welding

Listen for pings or pops. Put your open hand near BUT NOT TO NEAR, the places your clamps are. If you feel air or pulsing, you have a leak.
Also, make sure you don't over tighten your clamps. That will deform the tubing and cause leaks.

We don't check for exhaust leak unless we hear it leaking.
If you have a nice welder, go ahead, install your flowmaster, and listen to it...you would know if it's leaking.

i don't get it... when i do exhaust, i make sure its all good before putting it on the car... or are you spending the money for a flowmaster but not the welding?

if its really cold where you live you can see it. heh.

there is nothing to "look" for. you will hear an exhaust leak. its a tinging or pinging sound.

If there is a leak, you will hear it. Then just follow the noise. good luck.
