I heard from somewhere that it is harmful for your engine or your car in general if you have the Air Conditioning running while your car is parked or stopped. Is this true or just a myth. Thanks!

It depends on how good your cooling system is. If the engine runs hot because it is not getting enough air to cool down, then you don't want to do that. If the engine is still running at the right temp, then I doubt if it will do a lot of harm. Other than the normal wear that you get with the engine running.

This could be damaging to your engine because the a/c makes your water temp higher. As long as your cooling system is working you should be fine.

its 100% NOT true. there is no difference if your running the AC well your moving or in part the motor has to work just as heard both ways. the only thing that you louse when your sitting still as apposed to moving is that the fan is going to be running longer because there is no air flow when you sitting still. but it does no harm to the motor.

Won't cause any problem, will only use a little more gas because it will take a slight more power to run. Cook or be comfortable.

it wastes gas to run the ac because it steals about 2 to 3 horsepower to run it.
