My mom told me a friend of hers is experiencing an electrical charge in the gas pedal of her Chevy Suburban. She says that it takes about 45 minutes before her foot feels normal after driving it. Any ideas?

I just found out that my check engine light is caused by the EGR Malfunction System. What is this? Where can I get this fixed? Can this cause some serious problems for me? How much would it cost to repair this problem? Thank you all for your help!

I have a 99 Grad Am and it is becoming ridiculous how many times I have had to repair my ABS sensor. Since I purchased the car in 2000 I have had to put new sensors in my car 6-7 times. It is a yearly event; recently the ABS/Trac Off lights came on and they were fixed 8 months ago in January 2007. Also, after it gets fixed it is normally in the shop again 1-2 times within a week because it was not fixed. I have been to many different places for the repair. The repair is not cheep; it is between 250-300 dollars. Is there something else wrong with my car then just ABS sensor and why does it happen so often and how long is the sensor under warranty since I replaced it less than 8 months ago.

I have a Mountaineer that has a factory tint on all of the windows except the front driver & passenger windows. Even though it is tinted, it is not a dark tint. I would lke to get the front driver and passenger windows tinted while at the same time, get the other windows a littler darker. Can that be done? Or what would you suggest.

My car's battery light has been flipping on and off for the past three to four months. It always comes on after I've been driving for a while in the extreme heat. The car runs fine; however, I would say maybe twice over the entire summer (I make at least four trips a day) once I put the car in park it shut down. It always started again and drives fine.

It's been in the shop last year for this same problem. No problems were found for me to spend so much money. That's why I'm hesitant about taking it in again, but don't wish to break down either. I don't mind spending money to fix a problem, but not to be told there is nothing wrong.

Any advice? If the battery really wasn't able to charge, wouldn't it be dead after three to four months by now?

Hello,

The engine was cold on my mom's 2000 Nissan Maxima. I went to drain the radiator and then add new coolant. All was fine. There was no coolant in the reservoir. I added the new coolant, ran the engine to get any air bubbles out, and then put on the cap.

Now Nissan says in the owners manual that if there is no coolant in the reservoir when the engine is cold, add to the MAX level. However, shouldn't the reservoir be at MAX when the engine is hot after coolant has spilled over from the radiator cap to the reservoir?

Why would Nissan have me add to the MAX when even more coolant could be added to the reservoir after the engine heats up again?

Left lights on and now my battery is almost dead. I have a charger hooked up to it and it's charged enough to the point that my dash lights and interior lights work. How long will it take for my battery to be charged enough to start my car?

I'm trying to do fluids checks and changes. Need to know how much of what fluid, filters types and sizes, where check points are. Geez! This is a new much bigger engine for me and things aren't where I'm used to seeing them. I want to go from regular 10w30 to Mobil 1.
