Dear Rear Wheel-
Its going to need to go into the round part called the "Pumpkin". This is where all of the parts come together in the rear end to make it work.
There should be a little filler plug located on the side above the center-line of the rear-end. It may have a 3/8 or 1/2 inch square hole for the end of a socket wrench or ratchet. It may also be an Allen type plug too.
Just add the oil until it drains back out of the filler hole, then it should be full. It may take about 2 to 3 quarts to fill it because it has to fill the axle tubes too.
Some vehicles have them located on the rear cover plate, but since you asked this question, I would venture a guess that its not there.
Good Luck!

Its the big round shape part in the middle of the rear axle assembly. Where the plug is and what type of plug it is depends on the car. Some more info will help.
some cars have a hex shape plug head that is pretty obvious. Some have a recessed plug that you put the end of a 3/8 inch ratchet into. Some plugs are on the back some are off to one side of the differential.
