I have a problem with the passenger side windows not working. The battery was dying and I attributed it to that but then I replaced it and they still do not work. The driver side ones do work but the front passenger one sounds like the motor tries to move but doesn't and I just get a click with the passenger rear one. I was also having a problem with the left turn signal lighting up when I hit the brake pedal. It corrected itself somehow though.
A couple of things; I did try and jump it when the battery was dead. Also, I just bought a phone charger and plugged it in the cigarette lighter. It seemed to start not too long after this. I didn't notice any shorts and I have used one before and never had a problem.
I checked fuses and didn't see any labeled window motor. Also checked fuse and relay box next to battery and didn't see anything labeled that would be helpful.
Any help would be appreciated and any other questions I will read and follow up with.
Thank you.

you need window regulator kit. the gears arent meshing anymore. get the whole kit , it takes lessthan an hour to do even for a novice if that is the case. i ve done a hundred of them. Very common problem all throughout cherokee and grand cherokee history. the electrical problem probably lies in the cigarette lighter socket, it s a good place for an electrical draw, especially if you leave the charger in all the time.

I suggest taking your vehicle to a shop that replaces windshields, such as Safelite or Glass Doctor. These people are trained to repair/replace all auto glass, not just windshields. They can tell you if it's a broken window drive belt, burned out motor, or loose/bad connection. They have the skill, and special tools to do the job right. Good luck!
