when i see things like "manufacture emission control " or "manufacture specific "it means the scan tool u are using does not have the right program or you need the factory scan tool.if you have access to a Mitchell or alldata you should get more info. good luck

Vehicle make, model and year would be helpful. Do you mean P0401 Egr insufficient flow? If this is the code you are referring to, it means that the engine is not getting or the engine control module perceives that there is not enough exhaust gases being recirculated back into the intake manifold, and you have a EGR valve, Egr system, or EGR pressure sensor problem. There is no 1041 emissions code that I know of.
