So any advice?
I think it's just the cable that goes from the shifter to the transmission, but don't want to spend the cash for an extra cable if it's something else.
It's a 96 Corsica, 74k miles. First it wouldn't start (lights would come on, but it wouldn't crank), then it started cranking but now won't engage. I think the cable mestup so it wouldn't crank (maybe it was in Drive or something) and then it started cranking, yet the transmission won't engage, and the shifter doesn't have any "resistance" like normal when changing gears. I'm thinking it's the cable, but do you have any advice? :)
