I am leaking around 1/8 qt a day out of the breather pipe (which drains just under the air filter). Does that mean there is too much oil or is something wrong? 1981 Yamaha XT250 Enduro

Yep, check your oil level with the bike standing upright...

The pipe should have been hooked to the air filter. If it's just hanging down it's not too surprising it's leaking. If you don't have the stock air filter you can get a breather filter and mount it up a little higher. You don't really want a breather open to the dust on a dirt bike.

Usually too much happens when its leaning hard on kick stand.
