Her air conditioning works, but her heater doesn't, could it maybe be her thermostat or a heater core?

turn off the engine check anti freeze after wait a sec pull the dip stick out look for green particles on the dip stick representing a blown core no green particles pull replace thermostat after try still not working check vacume hoses you will no you will hear air sucking around the fire wall

The vehicle could be low on antifreeze, also thermostat could be stuck open.It is possible heater core is plugged,Check to see if
the vents for the heat to come out are not closed or stuck shut

About half the time it's because it's low on coolant. Most of the rest of the time the door that mixes hot and cold air in the vents is stuck

I would check the thermostat first, it is the most likely culprit, and the cheapest and easiest to fix (replace).
