I know nothing about that specific block, but I know you won't be able to put another crank in it that increases the stroke without AT LEAST replacing the heads.

You must plan to notch the block if it's not already done.
Prove it to yourself by installing the two end main bearings and the front and rear main caps. Install a rod with bearings and piston. With the block on an engine stand rotate the crank slowly by hand. You will find instantly where all eight notches must be ground. Good luck with your project.

you will have to notch it, i have built 2 of them you will also have to clean up the pan rails to clear the throws on the crank. yes it will be a 383 if its bored .030 over a 377 with standard bore and a 388 if its bored .060 , these motors make huge low end torque with a rv type cam, just alittle bigger than stock. you can use your heads that you already have, hopefully 461 casting number.

No..it will require special main bearings...check with your local speed shop... a 350 block bored .030 over will make a
355 with some nice dome tops and a good cam (mild not wild) you can easily reach 400hp and still have a street ride you can live with @ $2.60 a gal plus
