When you first turn on the key(to the run position without starting)there is a small hum from the gas tank.(your Fuel Pump) No Hum Usually means no pumping Thus a pump may be required.

Ask yourself one question: Do you let your tank go almost empty a lot? This can wear out a fuel pump. However, this many not be your problem. It could be your fuel pump relay. Or even your fuel filter is clogged.
The best thing that you need to do is send it to a mechanic that offers free check up or consultation. He'll look at your problem, tell you what it is, and give you an estimate for the cost of repairing it. If it's too high, shop around, or even buy the part yourself and take it somewhere cheaper.
However, never try to fix your car if you don't know how. GOOD LUCK!

A bad fuel pump is a reasonable guess, but it could be any number of problems. You can disconnect the line and check if fuel is being pumped when the ignition is on. If you are not careful, you could be pumping gasoline all over the engine and yourself. This would not be a perfect test because if it is pumping fuel, it may not be at enough pressure, and if it isn't pumping fuel, it may be just the filter that is plugged and needs replacement. A shop can do the test easily and safely. Be prepared, a new fuel pump and the labour is expensive

Crank shaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, verify the connectors for those sensors. in the adventure that your automobile is obd2 compliant, there's a sticky label someplace lower than the hood that states that, you want to verify for codes even if the verify engine lite isn't on. Is there a progression to the stalling mission ?? certain speed, temp. generic or low, etc. also, run a verify on your battery and charging device, if the battery voltage is low it may influence the operation of the ecm and sensors. in case you will get a workstation test with a graph it is going to verify all of your sensors with engine operating. in the different case perhaps some mechanik has some spare elements to apply for finding out and also you are able to learn the sensors by technique of replacing them quickly.
