Sometimes, when the heater is blowing hot air it will just suddenly start blowing cold air. I then have to wait for a varying amount of time (15, 20, 30mins +) before it starts blowing hot air again. What is the cause of this and how do I fix it?

I need a front bumper for a 92 Oldsmobile Achieva. In good condition with fog lights. I have searched all the aurora junk yards, and can't find a decent one with the fog light set up. Does anyone know of where I could find one in the Denver Area? I was in an accident a couple of months ago, and we are rebuilding it most of my car. and the only thing holding us back now is finding a front bumper.

When i make a turn at low speed in my vw golf the near side rear of the car makes a loud rubing sound. i dont think its the wheel rubing along the wheel arch as there is plenty of clerance. Any advice?

My son wants to buy a car that has a body kit. The installation looks cheap. The ground effects are held on with small pieces of strap metal along the rocker cell in the door opening. Is this a typical installation for an after market body kit?

it usually dies down after a mile of driving. it quits smoking. what could it be? I even changed the oil yesterday. thinking maybe i added too much. but, it still smokes...white smoke.

Okay, I have this tire that sometimes leaks air, but not constantly. after I pumped up the air, it does not leak air overnight. Last night, when I noticed the tire was a little flat, so I pumped air into it, then drove about 30 miles and parked in a snow place, then the next morning, it was leaking like it had a hole. It was sunday, so I couldn't repair my tire, so I pumped air again. Today, the tire was full of air after 24 hours, and not leaking air at all (after another 30 miles drove back). Why is that? Is it my tire or something else??

Unless someone played a prank on letting my air go last night, but i doubt it because it always happens to that tire. Any suggestion or idea?

I feel this could possibly be due to torque steering but I am unable to confirm this. Is there a way in which the symptoms could be confirmed. What is the most likely cause and how can it be rectified?

the suburban has a 350 engine in it.i always put vpower gas from shell.does it make a difference if i keep using that or should i put the medium grade gas?

i pulled the tranny out of the corsica and put it in the lumina.. it appeared to be exactly the same as well as the engine, just mounted differently but that wasnt hard to work with. well, got it started and it was running good, but when i moved the shift lever through the gears nothing was happening. it sounded like something was spinning (torque converter and flywheel?) but nothing was happening. then, as i was going through the gears again there was a kinda grinding sound as i tried to put it back into park. thats where i stopped. anyone have any ideas? as far as i can tell, they are exactly the same tranny, engine, torque converter and whatever else, there appears to be no external differences.

Ive brought this car to 3 mechanics...the car starts and runs fine until it warms up..then it stalls...the last mechanic, the one where its being fixed says its the computer...He replaced the computer hoping it would fix the problem...no luck...now he says there are 2 computers and it has to be the other one...so hes rereplacing the second computer now...computers arent cheap for this car $800-900....I only have to pay for one comp, but this is getting old...any ideas?...please help...thanks

Just before Christmas i left my car into a garage to be repaired, i was given a quote for 800 Euros. While my car was in the garage i lost my job two days before Christmas. I did not have the money to pay the garage the new estimate of 1,600 Euros. Recently i have been offered my job back, but need my car to go to work as it is about 50 miles from my home but the garage will not release my car to me until i pay the money which i don't have. My question is ... does the garage have the right to keep my car ? seems to me to be a no win situation for all involved, Thanks in advance for any answers

THE ONLY PART OF MY CAR THAT IS SOAKED IS THE FLOOR BEHIND THE DRIVER'S SEAT. I CANNOT SEE WHERE THIS WATER IS COMING IN. ANY ONE ABLE TO HELP TO IDENTIFY WHERE THE LEAK MIGHT BE COMING FROM. THE BACK SEATS AND ALL SEEM TO BE FINE.

Own an 03 Corolla with 32k miles.

I can hear a tapping noise when I go over bumps, like something may be hitting something else.

The weird thing about it is that the noise is most distinctive only when it is really cold out. Undernormal temperatures, I really can't hear anything.

What's up with my car?
