Anyone have an estimate as to how much this will cost to get fixed.Its preety bad I tried to fill it and it all leaks out within 5 minutes?

i can start in fine the first time but after i drive and the motor gets hot it will not crank..i can get it to crank if i spray starting fluid in the throttle body...any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks, bryan

I got the wheel off and took out all the screws and now i cant get the caliper off to get the rotor off.

ok im done with the oil filter issue and i have put in new oil and now i checked for any leak and found that the drain plug is leaking. i have tightened itand im kinda scared to tighten it more because i mite mess up the thread. any quick tips? pls

It sounds like it wants to start but I have to stop trying to start the car and then try again. When I do this it will start up. It doesn't sound like the engine is trying to start but something else. Not car savy can you tell? The engine doesn't seem to be wanting to turn over until the second try. Then it seems like something ignites in the engine and it will start. I did recently have a new battery put in the car. Plus I just came home through a bunch of rain to weather that is below freezing temperatures. Can anyone help? Thank you.

The motor is running fine on the windows. But insid what im going to call the weather stripping for lack of a better name... the rubber has worn thin. It gets stuck on those bald spots and i have to use my hand to force it down. I tried spraying goo gone in the crease to make it smoother. It worked for one day. I need some sort of silicone or grease to help it run smoother. But i need something that wont smudge or smerk up the glass any suggestions?

The van has been rolled and the door won't shut. So I need to replace the door somewhere. I looked at a couple of salvage shops around town and only found one full size van. But its a Dodge, but the door measures out to the same size and looks the same shape.

mustang familiar people only please.
it is really tight to get in there and get the lights out. on one side there is the battery that blocking the way and on the other side is the air filter hose. how do u get in there?
have you changed your headlights on a mustang before?
how did you do it?

Live in Los Angeles, California. I have a 2002 Mustang in which the timing chain broke messing up my cylinder heads. Need to find a shop that sells those heads or engine. don't have to be new just work. Cheap Ford puts plastic to support a metallic chain. With my high RPM driving the chain ate up the plastics chain hit the timing tensioners and broke. Appreciate any help. Good websites will help too.

the center console that tells me information about music, temperature, time and other various things is recently unreadable. It is black enough where you cant see anything but everything is workable. I have looked through the manual, especially at the fuse part but i just dont know where to start. thanks

My '95 toyota corolla stalls out when it accelerates. There is a burnt hole in the distributor coil. could that be the problem? sometimes it starts stalling without accelerating, and when i try to rev the engine some white smoke comes out of the tailpipe. maybe a head gasket too?

Everytime I go to Pep Boys I see these cool car-interior light accentation accessories for sale, but they all have this stupid wire meant to be plugged into the 12Volt plug.

Is it alot of trouble to bypass that and connect these to the battery for continuous operation rather than having to see dangling wires everywhere?

How do you do it? What kind of work is involved? I'd hate to say I'm a handyman but nothing is further from the truth.

There is all kinds of spark, I even tried adding fuel directly into the cylinder and not even any attemp to fire up. I tried using the choke, priming it, holding the throttle wide open and still nothing. As soon as the engine cools off enough it starts right up.I am open to any suggestions. Thanks.

I currently have a 2000 olds. alero. Up until recently it has been a pretty descent car. Last month I had it in to get some things fixed and it cost $400+. Just the other day it started acting weird with the check engine light flashing. I had to take it into the shop again and the total was $870! Now that it actually works...I'm just afraid that it's going to cause more problems. Is it time to get a new car? Or should the worst of it be over? What do you think?

I have no idea what the problem may be ... I brought my '95 Mitsubishi 3000gt SL to a mechanic, and I was told the bushings were bad on the front lower control arms, both left and right. I just got the lower control arms replaced expecting the problem to be fixed ... but it wasn't. I just got my tires balanced today, but the problem still isn't solved.

My car has an extremely violent rattle past 65mph. It gets violent at the point of acceleration. The more I Floor the gas pedal, the more it Rattles. But like I said ... it's a scary, VIOLENT rattle. It's not your normal little shake at high speed. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? The shaking started a few months ago and gradually increased to a violent, undriveable rattle past 65mph. Sometimes when I Downshift, I hear a Cluck, Cluck, Cluck noise coming from under the car. Weird. Noone knows what it is. Thanks

I have a 2006 lexus IS 350. I got into minor car accident a few months ago where I drove over a dead deer carcass. I needed to have some body work done to replace the front bumper and repair the under carriage. But now when I drive it, it doesn't seem very smooth at all. I feel every bump in the road, the car seems to lurch and jerk forward when i'm coming to a stop or accelerating from a stop. Does anyone know what is going on?

I have a 1991 toyota celica. The passenger side door wont open from the outside so i had my friend who is a mechanic look at it he took the door panel off and found out that the clip was broken, so i went and bought the clip and am trying to take the door panel back off and cant seem to figure it all oout on how to get the whole door panel off. Can anyone help?

i recently bought a used exhaust manifold for a 96-98 civic cx hatchback because the previous one it had, had a crach on the manifold so it was letting air out, andi thought that was teh cause of the "engine light". so i installed the other used exhaust manifold without any cracks adn when i started up the car, 1st of all smoke started to come out, i dont know hwere but aruond the exhaust manifold. 2nd the "engine light" still came up and i scanned it with my ob2 and it still was the "o2 sensor malfunction". does anyone konw what could be the problem of the smoke coming out and the "engine light"?
