Last night a friend of mine backed into a fire hydrant- and apparently needs a new bumper. Anyone know about how much that would cost to fix?

go to a junk yard, you might have to paint it, but you should be able to get one for as little as $200. A bumper from the factory will cost you around $600, not including the cost to have someone put it on. Try ebay.

Call around to local salvage yards, ask for a bumper in the same color to save money on painting.

Go to a junkyard, and get one for $50 or so. Depending on how badly it's been damaged, you may only need the skin.
