I have an 2003 infinity M45 and one of my headlights is out I called the dealer today and the bulb is $257.00 plus tax (holy Crap) for one bulb? I need another solution here or another car please help my email is johndegra@yahoo.com

might be totaled, it's borderline, pretty beat up front end and steering, dosen't start. other party at fault, not sure if their insurance is valid. someone suggested i take it to a dealer, 2001 isuzu rodeo 4x4. is that better than an Joe Smith auto body repair?

While warming up the engine does not release heat until temp gauge reaches H and then the tstat opens and heat pours in. While driving above 2000 rpm the heat keeps coming in, but when I slow or stop the heat vanishes and the gauge goes up to H only to repeat the cycle. There is a slight smell of antifreeze coming through the vents only after coming to a stop after highway driving, then it disapears. It has a new radiator. I had the tstat replaced and the system was flushed, but I haven't had a chance to drive it longer than 15 minutes. It didn't have any symptoms for that short drive and heat was coming out as the gauge was going from C to the middle line. Were the symptoms because of a bad tstat or is the head gasket blown?

I'm wondering how I broke my serpentine belt. Was it something I did, or is it just time that the belt be replaced? It is currently at the dealership, being repaired, but I just wonder if I did anything that caused this to happen that can be avoided in the future. Let me know!

It was checked by two mechanics. All is clear. They both said they checked EVERYTHING. Good spark...motor compression good. Changed spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel injection. Checked ECM and coil packs, timing chain. Everything is doing what it's supposed to do except start. Any suggestions?? The mechanic is literally scratching his head over this.

I have a 95 Honda Del Sol, and I recently took it in to a Jiffy Lube to get a Tranny flush. After that I noticed that my temp gauge wasn't moving..I figured they they knocked out the wires or something, but then I notice that my heater wasn't getting hot anymore. So the gauge isn't broke, it's reading right. Sometimes the gauge moves up a little bit, but most of the time it barely moves at all and my heater is barely warm. I did have low coolant, and when I put more in it helped slightly..my next guess is the thermostat going out...any other suggestions? thank you:)

We just took a trip to Chicago my van drove fine the whole time, but at the end of the trip it started making a low rumbing sound. The temperature gauge said it was normal mid temperature and the fan is not coming on. There is plenty of coolant. I am going to pull the thermastat as soon as my husband gets home so I can run out for a wrachet. Is there anything else that I should check? I am pretty handy but I am no mechanic.

Vehicle is a 91 Chevy S10 Blazer with a 4.3L V6. Engine idles alright, but hesitates badly. Replaced ignition module, coolant sensor, throttle position sensor, and idle air control valve. When i was replacing the ignition module, the inside of the distributor looked kind of crusty, and the pick up coil wires looked to be cracked in several places. Before the igniton module replacement, i found a code 42 which means spark control. I know the pick up coil connects to the ignition module. Could the pickup coil set the code?

I went to the mechanic today and he said he thinks my Catalytic Converters needs to be replaced. Of course I'm going to get second and third opinion but I was wondering id there was anything else I could besides getting the work done or junking my car?

Chevy s 10...don't even know if it needs replaced or flushed, the greasy blowout stuff is coming from the vents along with the Burnt sweet smell, haven't seen antifreeze leaking, I can check, Hard to drive because the greasy blowout discharge of course greases up the windows...My husband's truck, but he's not really looking into it and only drives it 2 miles to work. Heater core is only $60 at auto zone, but need to know if it actually needs replaced and how to flush it/check it out. I know I'M a chick, but I'm pretty good at this stuff when I'm told what to do!!

My headlights are out, though my day running lights still work, but my appointment to have them fixed isn't until next year (I'm going out of town). Is there anything I can use, or just don't drive at night?

I can start my car fine. Drive it fine and everything but when i try to turn the key to turn it off it wont budge. and it use to turn off if you turned it forward first but it stopped turning off that way too...someone told me to use WD-40 in the hole and on the key but it didnt work. PLEASE HELP!

On a 96 Saturn SC2, it has the flip up headlights. On the passenger side, when the light is flipping up, the light is on, but as soon as its all the way up, it cuts off. The brights still work on both lights. Do I just need a new headlight?

I am having trouble with my XMODS. You know, the radio controlled car that you can upgrade? Okay, I have a Scion of the Evo Series. My problem is, whenever I try to turn the wheels, the wheels rub against the front of the car where the hemisphere for the tires are fitting around the chassis. i thought about trimming the body, but then i would be getting rid of plastic from my new body upgrade kit. When I first got the car, it had no problems with it at all. But it all started when i changed the rims of the tires. When I finished changing the rims, I put the body on the chassis. I tested my car again, but I noticed something. The wheels where rubbing against the body, slowing it down. Is there a way to fix this?

When I engage my clutch there are a few instances to where I can not shift into any gear. I mean it wont go anywhere. All that happens is that it makes a thuding noise each time I try to access any gear. I have to litterally jam it into third to start moving. Once in gear I can move freely throughout the gears. Its almost as if the clutch never engages. This only happens occassionaly when the Jeep is at a stand still such as at a red light....never while moving. I can turn the Jeep off and fly through all of the gears with no resistance. I have had my cluth, transmission, slave cylinder, master cylinder, pressure plate, and throwout bearing all replaed in hopes of fixing this problem all with no luck. I hope someone can help me out. The only thing I have left to guess is that possibly the drive shaft anf transmission arent lining up porperly...and if not, how do I fix it?

I have a 1988 Honda Civic, when I start it drives fine for a little whiile but then it feels like it wants to turn off. But when I turn my headlights on, the car nearly turns off and feels like there almost no power in the gas pedal, the headlights are flickering and dimming out. But when I step on the brake the lights brighten up or if I turn the headlights off it seems to drive better...Can someone tell me where I can troubleshoot these problems???Please...

I have an 04 neon and all of my lights work except for my parking lights,gauges and my tail lights.My brake lights turn signals and headlights work and i can not figure out what it is,I have already checked the fuses and there is no relay that I can found so I am pretty much stumped. Please help.
