It should be replaced along with the bearings and probably the lifters.
As others have posted, if the ridges are on a bearing surface, you have a problem. If you already have it out, your job is nearly half-done.

The surface on a new camshaft is specially hardened, the ridges you see are telling you the hardness has gone. To try and regrind it will make matters worse plus of course the setting between the camshaft and the valve would be way out. A new shaft is the only answer.

Don't bother they are case hardened and the cam pitch has to be done precisely besides the followers will also be damaged , buy yourself a reworked camshaft kit , you will get all that you need to refurbish the system , i would suggest you ring01733 557457 millfeild autos they keep them on the shelf they are not expensive and they do a postal service, remember when retiming a camshaft it must be precise

not a chance of self repair - if the wavy ridged lines are not on the lobes or bearing surfaces they are probably from the original casting and not a flaw ( they cast it and then grind the critical areas to spec - which is why they refer to different camshaft 'grinds' )

Why? A new cam is not that expensive and if you want to you can get one that might provide better performance for the type of driving you did.
BUT FIRST... learn WHY it is scored and fix THAT or you will have a new Cam with new scoremarks.
