Disreguard what these people are saying. 18" rims will fit any cobalt with out rubbing. You can even lower it if you wanted. Right now with all the different types of lowering springs out there, the max you can lower it is 2.5" on a base model Cobalt. And they will not rub with 18's on it.

The sources that I used is from an offical cobalt forum. If you have any other questions feel free to email me.

there are a couple of things that you should consider before you do this: what profile tires are on the car now with the 16's? if they are something like a 3 or 4 then the 18's with a very low profile tire like a 1 will fit perfectly. just use common sense.

hope this helps

YES OF COURSE. I would stay away from eBay with that. I was watching a news report people were selling tires that were 9 to 10 years old that looked great to unexpected people. Just go to your local tire shop see what they got, that's cheaper work your way up. name brand tires are just the name. See what suites you and see what you'll enjoy better they all look the same. well hopefully this helps. Note they have something for every application.

I believe 18-inch wheels are available on some Cobalt models from the factory. Stick to the factory wheel offset and tire size for that model and you should be fine.

Yes there are rims and tires out there that will do this but finding them can be time consuming.
