I can start my car fine. Drive it fine and everything but when i try to turn the key to turn it off it wont budge. and it use to turn off if you turned it forward first but it stopped turning off that way too...someone told me to use WD-40 in the hole and on the key but it didnt work. PLEASE HELP!

what you need to replace is called the lock cylinder. it can be a real pain. ive done dozens of them

I assume you do not have a key release button on the steering column - right?

If that is the case then your key switch is starting to fail.

Wiggle the steering wheel a bit. That may allow the locking pin to seat in the holes and let the key turn, but you should get ready for a trip to the locksmith.

Its the ignition switch.
There is another way of shutting it off, but you will have to wire a toggle switch into the ignition wiring.

You need a new ignition switch. Take the car to your dealer.

new ignition.... but for now just disconnect the battery, positive first.
