the engine of my proposed vehicle is a pneumatic impact wrench ,the one we see in automobile garages for turning nuts.. these

are always run by a compressors operating parallely for the supply of compressed air ( fuel ).the specifications of the

pneumatic wrench that is thought to be as the prime mover (engine) are....
1.air consumption --- 6cfm(cubic feet per minute)
2.operating pressure ---6.2 bar (90 psi,pounds per square inch)
3.max torque --- 500 lb-ft (678N-m)
4.weight --- 4.6 Kg

the project should not include a compressor ,instead vehicle should be incorporated with a air storage tank .so it is

thought appropriate to use a well capacitated tank that can store compressed air at atleast 30 bar so that the vehicle could

run some distance..say abt 400 to 500 meters.
the storage tank specifications are
diameter-40 cm
length - 1 m (even though the tank has hemispherical ends the additional volume is not included)

my AC unit froze up on my 95 sable ( 3.0 eng. ) and snap the serpentine belt.
Is it possible to get a belt made for a sable without AC so I would'nt have to remove the AC compressor ? THeir seems to be enought clearence to clear the clutch on the ac compressor. The belt routing diagram on the car shows with/without AC.

It's isn't really bad like the engine's is completely on fire, but still smoke visibly rises from under the hood when the car is parked.

Usually this happens after driving around, doing about 50 or so for a few.

First thing I thought is the car may be overheating. However, the temp gauge in my dash reads normal. I suppose the possibility exists that the gauge is faulty, but I don't think so because when the car warms up it seems fine.

I know the serpentine belt needs to be changed but the smoke doesn't appear to come from there when I open up the hood. It almost seems like it's coming from the bottom of the car, but I can't really tell from where. I was once told since it's an older, high-mileage (175k) car that it just does that. Something about the oil burning.

Been to the mechanic recently for an oil change. When you get it, they do a comp check of your car. I wasn't told anything was wrong.

Again, since I'm not really familiar with this type of thing, I thought I would ask.

The driver side wiper of my altima stopped working and the passenger one works fine. I think the arm fell off inside the cowl box but I have no idea how to exactly remove it. Could anyone diagnose this problem for me and tell me how to remove the cowl box and repair it?

i started my car this mornign and it sounded like a diesel engine and almost cut out when it was idling.the engine was jumpy and garggling. almost sounded like a mean v-8 motor with the popping noise. i turned off the car and restarted it. Sounded almost the same.idled for 2 minutes. 3rd start sounded alittle better and smoothed out back to normal. I drove in real heavy rain for an hour yesterday. Live in FL Temp is about 70. Nothing drastic. My thoughts were water getting in the gas somehow/ or i bought bad gas (but i drove 30 miles after i bought it with no problem.) I drove to work today and the car runs like normal. I did notice the temp gauge go up and down according the the rpm's though. Never hit the danger zone though. what do u think this could be?

My windshield wipers have started to work less and less. It's only now bothering, but I'd like to improve their function. Should I clean them or should I replace them (they are 2 and a half years old).
Thank you!

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 318. The check engine light came on, and it started running like crap. A week later it doesn't run barely at all. Kind of sounds like it may be skipping, but when you hit the throttle it bogs down. Doesn't stall though. I replace the plugs/wires/cap/rotor, and this didn't help. Any thoughts?
