i have a 91 dodge daytona. my tranny shifts fine from 1 to 2nd but about half the time it takes a longer time shifting from 2nd to Drive than its supposed to. any ideas?

the vehicle is a 96' chevy S-10, and i need a set of new brake lines. nothing like advance or auto zone will work. And the dealerships all around cant get them either. i will not go used!! so if anyone knows of a website to order from that would be helpful.

the vibrating seems to be in the tranny. it vibrates from idle thru entire rpm range. it is not in the front of the motor. it is not a motor mount. could it be loose fly wheel bolts or something?? it vibrate in gear and in nuetrel sometime worse sometime better...sometime seems very little almost no vibaration and other times seems truck is going to shake apart.

iput a new starter and a new flyweel in it and it sounds like the timming so moved it and it ack allright for awhile but when i first start it up it dose it agin i need help this is driving me nutts

I have to change the license plates on a newly purchased auto.
The screws are rusted and won't turn so I can't take them out. I have to change the plate because it is not registered to me.

we have been using an additive to the gas, just about everytime we fill up the car. don't know when the car had last tune-up. had the car a little over a year, so far. bought it used from a local off the wall dealer. also, how do you know when you have to change the air filter? i don't know anything about vehicles. thought about bringing the car to a mechanic shop earlier today, to put it on a machine to find out where the problem is coming from...but don't want them to charge me for all kinds of different things that aren't necessary at the moment. one more thing...what happens when a sensor goes out on a car? any suggestions please?

I have replaced the radiator in my 95 Acura Integra 4 different times due to leaks - I have taken it to multiple shops each time and no one can give me a good explanation as to why I keep having to do this - they just keep replacing them and then they run fine for about a year and then it happens again. Any ideas?

the car idles real bad at red lights and stop signs. when you cross the tracks, and you come to a stop sign or red light and the traffic's clear (or light is green), the car kills on me. what is causing this to happen? is it a sensor that's going out, or is it a hose that's busted? please help!!!

03 ram 4.7 lt.. During a oil change I found milky res. in the fill tube. none was in the oil. Did a flush for percaution and had steam coming up and the cap had moisture on the cap.

i had a man tell me that i should look for a 5 speed tranny for a 992 mustang 2.3 instead of the automatic and he aslo said that the stuff for the pedal was alreadin in the car i was wonder if that was true and if so, what is the transmission i am looking for? thanks

I drive an older model Grand Prix (92) and it recently started to mess up. The RPMs will jump up and down even when it's iddling. It will shut off when I'm driving but it will start right back up. Does anyone know what this might be?

The vehicle is a 92 Explorer 4x4 with a v6. I recently changed my oil. Filled to proper level. Filled trans fluid to proper level and added a stop leak to trans fluid. In the past month I've had to add about 3-4 quarts of trans fluid to keep it at the proper level. I recently checked the engine oil and found it to be about 3-4 quarts too high.

I have a 2001 cougar and 4 months ago i got my front brake pads changed and the mechanics sais the rotors where good. Last week i washed my rims and my rotors were fine, then 2 days ago i noticed a weird grinding sound as i braked. Today i checked my front drivers side rotor and it is all scratched to ruins. It is only the drivers side though, and it sparks a little bit when braking?? Why is this happening? Is this the mechanics fault?

I think it as somthing to do with the fuel, I turn on the key and I can hear the fuel pump it cranks over good but won't catch sometimes it will sputter like it going to start but just wont pick it up.
