I was told by Grease Monkey that my '98 Chrysler Town & Country
minivan doesn't have any grease fittings. It squeeks when I go over bumps in the road. What can I do for this and what will it cost?
Thanks for your ideas.

you have to make sure that it is a ball joint or tie rod that is squeaking. If so then you can like the one guy said see if they put a bolt in from the factory and replace it with a grease fitting. Or you can drill a small hole and tap it out and then screw a fitting in. But I would make sure that is yoyur problem first. If this doestn work you will have to replace the part if it is a ball joint then just make sure who ever changes it replaces it with a greasable one.

If it's a Joint or tie rod it should have a small bolt. You can get a nipple for a grease fitting at an auto parts store. Just replace the bolt with the nipple fitting. Don't use the needle thing it puts holes in the rubber that will leak . This is bad.

you need to find out what is squeaking first then oil or grease it. if there are no fittings on say tie rod ends they have this nifty little needle at parts stores you put in your grease gun and push it through the rubber dust cover.

mix some used oil and transmission fluid and lube the leaf springs liberally, makes a difference for awhile, also squirt where yu think its squeaking? and its cheap? also this stuff will break rusted bolts and stuff loose! we use it on the farm on machinery all the time.
