My water pump went out on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee and I had it replaced along with the serpentine belt and the thermostat. Now, my heater does not blow hot air. It is barely even warm air. Does anyone know what could have caused this?

my friend has an impact wrench but it seems to take a while instead of just zipping bolts off in a second like I've seen before. I want a tool that is going to make my job as quick as possible. thanks.

Is there anything that can remove very fine scratches from my windscreen? The previous owner obviously left a bad wiper blade on, which has left the wiped area with very fine arced scratches that show up when you wipe the screen, causing a nasty smear till it evaporates.
I'd like to treat it or polish them out.

Looking for major carriers that I would not have to special order from. AutoZone, O'Reilly's? I haven't been there, but I'm thinking they would not have it, since most people have gasoline engines. Anyone know?

I own a Maruti 800. Its 8 years old and done about 37000 kms. The mechanic replaced the 'drive shaft boot' and said that if it starts making noise you've to change it.
Is it true? Can someone tell me what exactly is a drive shaft and how much does it cost and how do I know if its worn out?

I own a Maruti 800. Its done about 37000 kms. The brakes are not that great. I'm not at all cofident especially when 4 people are sitting and i'm going at speeds more than 80. I've taken it to many mechanics and they all say that its fine. I've to put my hand brakes to the last notch. And I find some black coloured oil deposits on the front right wheel of my car.

What is the cost of a new set of brake pads and shoes?

I recently gave my 8 year old Maruti 800 for service at Bosch Service Centre. He said the gears are slipping and the clutch needs to and overhaul and fly wheel needs to be replaced. However I'm happy about my clutch and gear shift is smooth. My car has done about 37000 kms. Any idea of how good 'Bosch Car Service is'?

Yesterday, when i started my 94 Cavalier it started making a loud squealing sound. I also experienced a loss of power steering. The noise is coming from the serpentine belt i believe. So i poured water on the belt and the squealing stopped for a short time but came back. However, last week i ran the car into a snowbank, it ran fine up untill now, so i have no clue if that has anything to do with the problem. It could be a misaligned pully on the serpentine belt, but im not sure at all. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

I have a 1995 Dogdge Ram Van where the passenger front side brakes wear out faster than the left front side. I changed the caliper with a new one and bled all four wheels starting from the fartest side and then eventually down to the front right side. After w few months I check on the pads and sure enough the same thing is happening. Is there a manifold that balance the fluid? If so how do I correct the pressure to be all equal.
