I have a 2000 Neon and I have a cold air intake installed. Last week I drove through a puddle that was across the road(there was no way around it) The puddle ended up being about a foot deep wich I would assume in turn caused my car to suck up water into the engine. My car immediately turned off and took a while to turn back on. Now that it's back on my car runs like it has 40 horsepower. It barely runs at all and it sounds just terrible!! What can I do to fix the problem?

I have put several towels underneath to make sure it was not just a spill from a drink, But it the liquid keeps on coming back. It doesnt smell, it is pinkish which leads me to transmission fluid. Im no mechanich though.

NO gauges are on that should not be on as well.

I was wondering what steps need to be done to get rid of the leak, and if it is something serious, what i need to fix it as soon as possible.

It won't fire. The 1489 code is because I swapped the fan relay w/the ASD relay, hoping it would fire. No such luck.

I just replaced my front calipers with fully loaded calipers, rotors and brake lines. I bled the brakes as well. First time ever bleeding brakes for me but pretty sure I did it right. My problem is when I jam on the brakes, the car stops but quickly but not as short as I'd like - does not skid but don't think it has ABS. Then when accelorating it takes a second or so for them to release, but then they'll squeal.

My questions are -
Did I do something wrong?
Does it matter is the master cyl. is filled above the full line?
Do I need to re-bleed them?
Could it be a vacuum booster issue?

The power steering on my 1986 Astro Van is leaking, and I don't want to go broke till I get it fixed. I have always heard transmission fluid and power steering fluid are the same thing. Is this true? Transmission fluid is a lot cheaper.

I have a remote for a vehicle and it was working fine before, but now it only sometimes work. I've already replaced the battery on it, but I think there may be residue build-up in the electronics inside and may need some cleaning up. What solution can I use to help? Does that dust freeze removal spray for computer parts work for this or should a different type of spray be used?

All factors such as octane ratings aside and being equal, is a car less likely to ping or knock when the weather is cold.

My car has been using up a quart of oil every 1500-1800 miles. I have an extended warranty bumper to bumper. I would think that it is serious enough to be covered in the warranty. Does anyone know if this should be covered in the warranty plan for the Toyota Corolla 2002? (Could you give me some facts and figures on quarts per miles for warranty coverage?)

Its for an 89 LeSabre T Type. I've had this happen before on me and I ended up using a large glob of RTV hi-temp silicone. Should I just use the silicone again or ask a friend to give me a ride to the auto parts store for yet another gasker/filter kit (stupid stores dont sell just the gasket).

Just wondering if hard driving (fast turns on streets or on-ramps) could tear your cv boot. I recently had the second one tear but I'm thinking it was just time for it to break 1996 nissan quest.
