Just wondering if hard driving (fast turns on streets or on-ramps) could tear your cv boot. I recently had the second one tear but I'm thinking it was just time for it to break 1996 nissan quest.

No, hard driving won't hurt the boots. They typically tear from age or damage from a road hazard. The outer boots are normally the first to go, as they not only flex up and down, (Like the inners), but have to steer left and right. Its just a normal item to check, no big deal.

hard acceleration neutral drops and lots of high speed tight turns will wear away at the CV joints and the rubber boots. I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina3.1 coupe with 125,600 miles on it and I still have all the original suspension parts, the original CV joints, original engine and transmission and my car drives like its brand new no noises nothing just a nice firm yet quiet ride. regular maintenance and responsible driving will make any car last (I don't drive like I'm 80 years old I just don't beat on my car)

cv boots tear because they have to spin the wheels and turn the vehicle at the same time. high speed or hard turns wont cause it to rip.

HARD AGGRESSIVE DRIVING CAN WEAR OUT SUSPENSION PARTS PREMATURELY BUT USUALLY DON'T DIRECTLY EFFECT YOUR CV BOOTS...IT IS POSSIBLE THAT OTHER WORN OUT PARTS IS WHAT'S STRESSING YOUR BOOTS AND TEARING THEM...ONE THING IN PARTICULAR TO CHECK FOR IS WORN OUT MOTOR AND OR TRANNY MOUNTS...EXCESSIVE ENGINE OR TRANNY MOVEMENT CAN TEAR CV BOOTS VERY QUICKLY.
